FOR PRODUCERS & ARTISTS
Hear the voice before the mix flatters it.
Every listing carries a polished reel and a Dry Lead — their real voice. One sells the voice. The other tells you what actually leaves their room.
Two files, not one
A produced reel tells you someone can be made to sound good. It does not tell you what arrives in your session.
So every singer here posts both: the montage, and a Dry Lead (single pass or comped). No Melodyne, no Auto-Tune — tuning or timing — no mix processing. A printed tracking chain is fine. How they push, pull, drive or drag a tempo is part of the voice, and that file is the one that lets you hear it.
Measured, not claimed
Reel length, integrated loudness, sample peak and room noise floor are computed from the uploaded files on our side. The singer does not type them in.
The same code runs in the browser tool and on the server, so the two can never disagree about a file. Anything we cannot measure is labelled as the singer's own statement — gear, genres, range, terms — and never dressed up as verified.
Their room, on your record
Noise floor is the quietest thing in their recording, measured from the dry pass.
Clean enough for a released pop record is a different number from clean enough to sit solo under dialogue. The gauge says which, in those words.
Not yet measured for repair.
Library quiet
A working floor. Printed compression places the file number lower than the room deserves.
What arrives, and when
Microphone, preamp, interface, delivery method. Whether they comp and tune their own takes. How fast the file comes back.
The difference between a singer and a session singer is usually the second list.
Direct contact, no commission
Their email and phone are on the listing. You talk to them, you agree a fee, and none of it comes through us. We never take a percentage, and placement is never for sale.
The stage we are at
This registry is new, and small.
What is not new is the standard: a measured reel, a Dry Lead, stated terms and direct contact on every published listing. The count will grow. The bar will not move.
